organic and vegan wines at manna

All of our wines at manna are vegan or organic and are selected from all around the world. Every wine must meet our very exacting standards before we bring them to you as our valued customer.

manna offers only the finest organic & vegan red and white wines

grapes are usually heavily sprayed with pesticides, both directly onto the skin and onto the surrounding growing ground, making them one of the most toxic commercial crops. Large residues of these toxins if not absorbed into the vine roots are also washed or pressed into the wine pulp, therefore, inevitably, ingestible with the wines themselves.

organic wines are free of synthetic chemicals therefore less stressful to the agricultural and human bio-systems alike. organic wines are also much more likely to be harvested by hand, allowing more accurate, again less stressful and more timely selection of the ripened grapes.

vegan wines do not use any animal products (egg whites and albumin; gelatin; insect, crustacean and fish products, etc) to clear or ‘fine’ the wine, using for example mineral clays instead. we at manna are of the opinion that the finest varieties of organic and vegan wines stand up to the finest wines available. if you would like help selecting a fine wine for your meal, please do not hesitate to ask

All in all manna restaurant offers the very best in organic vegtarian cuisine for the discerning customer.

  1. this is one place I would love to take my family to when next in London. Our family is a mixed bunch and quite a few of us are vegetarian with the rest of us also loving to eat a good hearty vegetarian meal. Manna restaurant ticks all the boxes for us as one of our prime concerns is how the food is sourced. It’s no use being just a vegetarian restaurant unless your food isn’t sprayed with chemicals and is not genetically modified either. Vegetarian restaurants that cannot boast ethically sourced foods are a no-go area and they are nothing more than greenwash jumping on the bandwagon of being a fashionable vegetarian restaurant.
Anyone had a vegetarian meal shoved in a menu of a non-vegetarian restaurant? Don’t bother they are a very very poor substitute for those in the know of real vegetarian food.

    • I have to admit Jenson that the food they are serving an manna restaurant doesn’t half look nice on the photographs ( and of course my video I made for them :-) ) . They have some good reviews too. I have never had a vegetarian meal off non-veg restaurant menu as they never do sound very tempting. It’s usually just a vegetarian lasagna or something like that and they don’t describe enough detail to assure me that the whole recipe is ethically sourced and won’t contain something that is of animal derivative. As you say its always best to stick to those in the know and who are capable of being vegetarian through and through. Organic and GM free food is always a major for me when eating in any restaurant.

  2. I have been to manna restaurant. It is a truly lovley place to eat and the food is really tasty. Even if you are not a vegetarian you would enjoy a taste of their menus.

    • I shall have to go and visit manna restaurant when I am next in London. They have some great reviews and the vegetarian food certainly looks deliciuos
