Let your ethical advertising make a difference for Friends of the Bees charity
Friends of the Bees owes its creation to a worldwide group of beekeepers who are developing more natural ways to look after their bees. We regularly exchange ideas on the Natural Beekeeping Network forum, which is open to everyone interested in natural beekeeping.
Friends of the Bees is a charity founded to conserve and protect bees, to educate people about bees and to research and promote more natural beekeeping methods. We aim to work with others to help restore the natural balance between honeybees and other insect pollinators
We are also conscious that other insect pollinators, are affected by our activities, and we want to help find ways to find a sustainable balance between honeybees and other pollinator species.
We believe that some of the problems currently affecting honeybees are caused by inappropriate beekeeping methods, and this is what motivates our search for more benign and natural beekeeping practices.
We also believe that agricultural insecticides – particularly the neonicotinoids – are likely culprits in the widespread decline in the bee population.
