This post is no longer relevant and although we appreciate all sites that are do-follow we now have to concentrate on building our ethical web directory and fulfilling our mission to help others.
Thanks for your visit however and we wish you good luck with your business and blogging.
I’m so glad you arrived here. It tells me that you are interested in dofollow blogs and being able to comment and receive a dofollow back link to your site.
I am adding this post so you can comment below and add your dofollow site. Please tell us your reasons for being a dofollow blog too so we can all learn a little more. We will be adding your RSS feed into this post herefor dofollow blogs on the web as an extra bonus. I am also going to subscribe to all RSS feeds from your dofollow blogs and get them out to twitter. I will work hard to get a large following so make sure youfollow me on twitter here too. On my twitter you can click all the dofollow posts that I tweet to save time searching the web to find somewhere suitable to add comments to.
(BTW Pledging for Change is dofollow and has commentLuv too so you can get two follow backlinks on these kind of sites)
Personally I believe that dofollow is a great way of saying thank you to those who take the time to make comments on our posts and that even though we should get a balance between dofollow and nofollow I think when a blogger takes the time to check their comments and protect their readers from spam adding dofollow is also their way of saying the are happy to align with another blog that is relative to their niche and added value to the post and the community.
If you are going to post a comment on a dofollow blog then please make sure it is within your niche and make sure you add some good content in your comment after you have genuinely read the post. The search engines are quick to notice that your blog is aligning with all and sundry in order to gain backlinks and they give a much higher credibility if the comment is posted into same or close niche. Makes sense doesn’t it? Why would an ethical blogger allow comments with links out to a NOT SO ETHICAL post and align his business with it?This would harm the iste and the comumunity. Nobody will add comments to a site that is full of comment spam!
I’m no expert on SEO but it just seems common sense that back links with dofollow help in rankings. Perhaps some kind SEO person would put us right?
Ok here goes.
Add a comment below to let us know that your site is dofollow and your reasoning behind it all. Don’t spam… that’s not allowed and don’t bother commenting and adding your site unless it is ETHCAL, so you will be wasting your efforts completely. All sites will be checked over and if not ethical then we do not align with such blogs or businesses here on Pledging for Change.

Our blog is also dofollow. I agree that it is really hard to find good dofollow blogs. I particularly appreciate blogs with CommentLuv because they promote conversation by enabling blog owners to share their latest topics. I personally have found that since we’ve gone dofollow and CommentLuv that our traffic has doubled. Since Google looks at traffic signals as a ranking factor, this is an incredibly good thing. We do receive some spam comments, but definitely not as much as I was initially expecting. All in all, I think it’s a great thing to do to promote your blog.
hey Jenn I’ve now added your do follow blog into our dofollow feed list here. :-)
Thanks for coming over and taking time to add some great comments to various posts. Hope you get more visitors to your site from our dofollow feed.
Thanks Karen! There’s some really great blog content on the feed! It was a pleasure to surf and read!
I also made my blog as dofollow after getting a pagerank of 2 in the last update. The problem with the dofollow is the bulk amount spam amoounts.Anyway I decided to continue with dofollow to share the benefit of my page rank with all other bloggers.

Hi,
I personally feel that it is really hard to find good dofollow blogs.Since Google looks at traffic, so its really useful to have dofollow and Comment section that increase traffic.

Sana
do follow is the real juice for gaining high PR
How is this not ethical? If you are providing value to the blog then you should be able to get a link from it. If not, then you probably wont get as many comments
Personally, i have do follow blog. But, I have to moderate new comments first before they can approve. Building quality backlinks is more important than just collecting scrappy backlinks. It can make our blog being deindexed by google and will be sandboxed too if google think we make links farm. New google algorithm or panda is very selective right now.

Andy you are right to moderate comments. I see far too many blogs that just allow any comments whether they are do follow or not, and this is doing incredible damage to their blog causing it as you say to be sandboxed or disregarded deindexed by google.
I believe that if a comment adds to the discussion, it should at the very least get a dofollow perk.
I just installed the dofollow plugin on my wordpress site and I welcome all reasonable comments. Of course I moderate my comments as well.

I do not have a blog yet and still learning the ins and outs in creating a blog for my business. I agree to your point on allowing dofollow links for those whose post their comments but they should be responsible enough to provide quality to the posts by giving relevant content and comments.
I couldnt agree more Son. It only takes a few moments to add a relevant and quality comment. People ARE reading comments and many times a business can fall down by offering poor quality comments.
I have often checked a site when a comment is interesting and made several new connections in this way.
I love your blog not because this blog is dofollow, but merely because you theme is really great. The combination of blue and soft Grey is really awesome. Love it.

And weve got great content too Dee. Some of our guest authors are really awesome. Make sure you look around you never know what you are missing :-)
I agree with this post. Dofollow is something that should be more common, however spam has been so intense on my site lately. Do you know of any plugins that can eliminate the spam ‘robots’ from posting to my blog. It’s getting really old going through them all each day.

Rick you might find this post helpful. It discusses some plugins that help increase your visitor comments and lower down the post there is a list of plugins that also prevent auto spammers.
hi!
glad to know you are trying to help bloggers by putting their sites as dofollow blog on this post. i’ve read your post fully and certainly don’t spammers on my blog either.
our blog is about providing daily updates on the most interesting stuff on the internet. there is no specific niche. we simply cover the stuff that interest a large group of people, whether it is technology, music, movies etc. but so far we’ve covered most of the technology stuff in our blog.
Hi Umar
Yes I am a massive believer in the dofollow for blogs because everything Pledging for Change is about is the concept of giving and receiving. We also have a page dedicated to ethical dofollow blogs out there on the web with the feeds constantly updating in real time so visitors can bob over and get the latest buzz. Enjoy…
Hi. I just recently turned my blog to DoFollow. My blog has multiple categories which include Blogging, Technology, Politics and Current Events, Health, Foods, and Places. It’s a personal blog too.
Hi Roberta,
I found your post and enjoyed your comments about do follow blogs.
I don’t have a blog at the moment but I can see the importance of getting and giving back links to ethical blogs for SEO purposes. I think it’s excellence that we can help each other out by commenting on great ethical blogs.
I have bookmarked your website for future reference!
Dave
Whether it is a do-follow or not is not that much important, whatever it is, the comments should be in accordance with your topic, this is something moral I reckon……. But unfortunately most people are in search of getting a backlinck in return for a piece of crap…
I agree. Putting a DoFollow feature in your blog or site is a way to draw comments to your sites, but you also want the comments to be about the subject or at least honest so your blog will not look or read bad, that is why a lot prefer to first approve before allowing the comment to be seen on the site and other just decied eventually to remove the DoFollow feature which hurt them – so I guess there are always two sides to anything, right?
There is always two or more sides to everything you’re right David.
However allowing comments and making sure that they add value to the post is a great way to get even more readers (or traffic as they say,) especially as many comments contain keywords which the search engines will read. And most people who are making comments also benefit from being part of a community where after a short while their name and business most certainly gets remembered. I have been on many sites and clicked through from a great comment to see who are they are and often to find out a little more on the subject matter maybe from a different perspective.
Lots of people place a lot of emphasis on dofollow commenting and it is true that if it’s only backlinks being sought then yes find do dollow sites and comment on them. But at the end of the day.. being an acitve contributor brings many more rewards. Sites that actively contribute on have become good colleagues of mine and we often share some banter and help each other out on twitter and other social networks too. So don’t underestimate the value of being a regular commenter dofollow or not, because its a great way of making new connections on the web.
I can understand why many sites changed their minds on dofollow as it can attract more spam but at the end of the day it’s well worth utilizing the correct tools to help and putting in the effort to send them to trash or whatever is necessary. Comments are still valuable content and as I say a great way to make new friends and business connections.
Yes do follow blogs are very helpful to get rank higher on SEs but we can not ignore the value no follow blogs.no follow blogs are also helpful to provide huge traffic and makes our link building a natural link building.
Thanks a lot!
So, the conclusion is that better to have dofollow blog? Sorry, I’ve just started blogging!
Jenny recently posted..I got started to blogging!
Well the jury is still out on dofollow Jenny and it really is up to the individual blogger to make the final decision. I’m a BIG fan of dofollow blogs as I always believe in the power of giving and receiving.
And when I am talking about dofollow blogs I am talking about dofollow blogs that have visible dofollow comments so that the commenter gets a nice thank you link back to their site.

Well do follow blogs are very useful for SEO but I think they are more useful for reading good posts as well.
Now a days its hard to find blogs without nofollow tags, and this will really helpful for blog owners to add quality links to their blogs.
Pretty! This was a really wonderful post dofollow blogs. Thank you for your provided information.I want to know more about dofollow blogs.I also want to know where we use no follow link.

there is nothing wrong with dofollow blogs, I prefer commenting on do follow blogs as I am sure others do

My website just coverted to dofollow links in comment. We have a minimum comment rule of 150 characters though, to prevent spamming.
What an excellent blog. One must not ignore no follow blogs for SEO because Google does put value on them but do follows are of course superior and help the web go around.
I feel delighted to read such a good post, Do Follow links need a lot of hard work, thanks for your post.
