Do you really know what is in your chicken and your eggs when you buy at the supermarket for cheapness?
Most chickens and their eggs are pumped with antibiotics.
Do you need to be eating these antibiotics in your own diet all the time? We now know, scientists know, everyone knows, that more and more diseases are becoming resistant to anti-biotics due the misuse of them. Pulverising our animals and ourselves with antibiotics that have been passed down in the food chain is like sitting on a ticking time bomb.
Mother nature gave us and chickens everything that we need so why do we think its best to keep chickens in cages and not let them the freedom to have some fun and be happy on healthy natural ground full of lush grass and bugs and other things that they can eat? Sounds like a life of sheer bliss doesn’t it? Well it is and being free and healthy and happy is every animals rights too. If you really saw caged up chickens and the distress that they suffer, and then saw chickens free to roam and be happy I doubt you would ever buy a chicken that wasn’t free range and organic ever again. There really is no comparison.
Chickens that are allowed to roam freely are always much healthier and grow much faster.
Surely this makes sense?
But don’t be fooled by free range chickens that are not organically certified.
Not only are the chickens and your eggs pumped up with antibiotics but the ground that they are eating from is also pumped with chemicals too. Organically reared chickens on the other hand enjoy freedom and excellent standards, being moved regularly to different areas or pastures to eat more fresh food. It’s something to think about if you are raising your own chickens because you don’t want your chickens to be eating grasses which are contaminated by chicken poop. Moving the chickens allows for the poop to naturally decomposes and add essential nitrates back into the soils for healthy fresh new growth to occur.

Unfortunately: Processed, pasteurized foods, meat, dairy infused with hormones and drugs have actually become the staples of the American Diet and this leaves a really unhealthy nation that will age in an unhealthy manner. No longer will the elderly be able to take care of themselves as I believe that food additives amongst other things are the root causes of dementia type problems. And to top it all bacterai and virus’s will become super charged and fight back with a vengeance won’t they?
Yes we have enough superbugs already so there really has come a time to stop adding anti-biotics into our food chain.
This is kind of worrying, I eat chicken and eggs all the time and never really gave much thought to what chemicals they may be harbouring! Thanks for the post
Unfortunately: Prepared, pasteurized foods, various meats, milk filled with testosterone and drugs have actually become the basics of the United States diet and this results in a really unhealthy generation of people who will mature into old age and exhibit so many problems like alzheimers, cancers and so on. it really is quite frightening to think about the future and with growing populations and people living longer we can all look forward to a lck of available care as funding for care dires up. its time to start thinking about everything that we eat before it is too late
I think it’s time we start buying food from farmers and ranchers, just like in the old times… This world is ruined… I can tell I am pretty lucky that my family has a farm, and I can get eggs, meat and vegetables from them.
I have always preferred buying chicken and eggs from my local poultry farm. I began this 4 years ago and it was the best decision i had ever made. The meat tastes way better and the eggs are so delicious. I will never go back to buying poultry at a local grocery store.
Unfortunately, organic free ranged chickens are too expensive. :( Much as many people would like to turn to organic but its hard to fit it in the budget. And that’s a fact. And much as we’d like to grow our own chicken, it requires effort and space! So I guess, just keep off the skin and wings as I’ve read that is where most of the bad stuffs are concentrated than any other part of the chicken.
Megan they might cost twice as much but the flavour and quality is superior as they are not pumped with water and worst still those anti-biotics which are actually killing us all in the end. PLUS there isn’t the cruelty suffered in thier short lives either. make quality meal with organic produce and you will certainly know the differnce. QUALITY and taste supreme! You will never turn back.

I always eat chicken and eggs, sometimes I even drink raw eggs before going to the gym, and I guess we don’t stop to think about the excess contaminants like mass anti-biotics that are given to animals in factory farming do we? Shocking and it will all most certainly back fire on us all.
